Scotch Bonnets Restaurant Opening 2011

Hello Food Fans! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season thus far. Some exciting news in the pipeline and I want to share it with my most loyal foodies.

Scotch Bonnets Restaurant & Catering will open its doors February, 2011! That's right! A physical location boasting Jamaica's world-famous cuisine. That means AllSpice, all the time! The restaurant which seats 50, will be located in Medford, New Jersey and will serve both lunch and dinner.

As most of you know, this has been a dream of mine for quite some time so I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have that dream realized.

There's much planning and preparing to do so I will get to it. In the meantime, stay tuned as I will have continuous updates.

Here's wishing, hoping, praying and planning for a spectacular 2011!

Classic BBQ Sauce Recipe

Get your grilling off to a smoking start with this Classic BBQ Sauce recipe.


Classic BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

1 Can Tomato Sauce, 8oz.

1-Cup Dark Brown Sugar

1 Drop Browning

¼ Tsp Nutmeg

¼ Tsp Allspice

1/3 Tsp Salt

¼ Tsp Black Pepper

1-Cup Water

Method

Combine ingredients in medium saucepan.

Reduce for 30 minutes over medium-hi heat. Stir often.
